We made it outside this weekend to clean up the yard and dig out the large bed, in which we plan to put in stepping stones and pea gravel.
In our long, narrow bed, we plan to compost and perhaps plant some edibles.
We were delighted to see so many perennial plants return this year.
Next Thursday, the local farmer's market beckons us to seek out herbs and such to round out the garden.
